Stihl 880

I'm looking to sell my lightly used stihl 880 in great condition. Only has about 25 hours of use on it (10 hours by me). Comes with an older 4' bar and chain and a brand new 36" bar and chain and sprocket.

I honestly have no idea why I bought it in the first place. This thing is a monster and I never need it. 660 do the job just fine around here.

Looking to get 1,200 or trade value. I currently need another 362 or 200t or another 660. I also need some 5/8 and larger bull rigging lines and new rigging slings and blocks.

I know that it's a lot of money to just dump, if it was me I'd be nervous about spending that kind of money on a saw I've never seen. What I will do is bring it to my local stihl dealer and get his seal of approval, my version of "certified pre owned". Have him give everything the once over to reassure it's quality.

What kind of slings etc. are you wanting to get as well as for the 200t? I happen to be sitting on two extra 200's in pretty good condition.

It would take a lot of slings to make up the price because I only need one 200t.

But. My boss is in the market for a 200t as well. Maybe I could talk to Him and see if he'll offer me cash for the second one.

Are the 200ts new?

not brand new but not seen a whole lot of use. What kind of deal we wanting to make on said 880 as far as slings money saws?

my only concern with used 200t is that the carbs are crap and very very unstable.

if i was to pick up a used 200t, regardless of hrs used, im taking a gamble on the carb working properly or not

at least when i buy them brand new i have a bit of a warranty, which i have always had to use with the first carbs in the 200t

right now mike dunn is looking the saw over, im going to respect his requests and inquires and give it a few days, then the saw will be back up on the chopping block.

if i was to bargan the saw for a few 200ts, then id probably say im good with just the 200ts and maybe a 14' eye sling but i dont really have a need for 2, 200t's at the moment. i already currently own two stronger 200t's but im a strong believer in replaceing them ever 2-3 years depending on useage.

i can ask my boss if he would be interested in buying one of the 200t from you if you want
