Stable braid bridge

Has anyone used half inch stable braid as a bridge on their saddle? Just wondering how it might hold up, or if it would be suitable.

I am running tri tech which is 7/16"s I believe. When I first got my MB saddle it had the RBW Samson 16 Strand for bridge material. Ring seemed more fluid on the bigger material laterally. I bought to much of the tritech to use as a lanyard and had enough to use as a bridge as well.

You probably won’t regret it, but if you do, it’s just as simple putting it back how it was and one can always find another purpose for the plates.

You’re aware of the past recalls for the rings as well as some bridges, and verified you’re not using one, right? Just checking man :)

I did a Liger mod on an older Cougar I have. It's a pretty good saddle now. Plus I can change the bridge out as often as I want to for 3 or 4 dollars.
