Not sure if there's a thread on rope colors changing feel ,but I just don't understand how a rope made by same company by same material ,same construction methods and of the same diameter, feels different . I wonder if you closed your eyes if you could tell the difference or if the blue moon has turned the tide in your brain like the real moon on the ocean.

Like I said earlier, blue moon feels to have a firmer, tighter weave. I run poison ivy for my lanyard and can definately feel the differences between the two ropes, as crazy as it sounds.

I was just playing around dude..I believe there is characteristic difference s ..I think there is posts about diff certificate s and and core differences possibly ..i know swing says blue tongue or moon was bouncy hes tried em all not me. Possibly nylon core not poly through and jacket..I've herd there been studies on different dys and coloring changing ropes texture ..don't have any backing on that but any info would be cool !

Never tried blue tongue, blue moon has less stretch then poison ivy in my experience.

Talked with Luke today Aaron you are right, blue tongue has a nylon core...it's required for CE certs in Europe....that being said...blue moon is low stretch I have heard from reliable sources....as for being less than PI or Calamine I call BS....lol Dblehron...tried my arrow frog on one of mt runners today, good rope....low stretch....now off to check out some poison sumac...now available at Treestuff as per usual....
