Re: SRT how do you set your\'s up?

My many Thanks for the individuals who provided the knowledge to help me get up and running on Single line ascent. I have now mastered the Rope walking and the Tree frog systems. They have provided me with an excellent step forward in my pursuit of making my job eaiser.

Don't stop putting the information out their its great for everybody.....

Ok then Robert, since the Master has mastered this, it sure would be nice if you could post a pic or two...or some vid of you flying into one of those big Redwoods via SRT. Or mabey you will show me at thee CAA invitational.

Re: SRT how do you set your\'s up?

I'm not to clear on how to post a video. Pics would be nice but it is hard to climb and take pictures at the same time. I'll bring a camera down to the Arboretum and take some their. In the meantime I'll try and find someone around here who might help me out.

I'll bring the gear down south...See ya their.

Chris, For your ascent, how tight is the Torse adjusted? Mine works fairly well if I have it adjusted tightly. But I see in Tom's and others' setups with shock cord and know that they can't possibly be tightened as much.

I keep my Torse fairly tight. I adjust it while standing in my leg loop before ascending, then I sit down in my saddle and check that adjustment as well.

After that, it's smooth sailing.

My shock cord tether can be made uncomfortably tight. Taht isn't necessary though. Very little tension is needed to keep the chest ascender fair.
