Got a new chunk of Tachyon today and decided to give the splice a try. Not much different than a regular double braid splice.

Great tight looking eye!

You might consider just a simple lock stitching to hold it together, but loose the bulk of the whipping.

But it looks great!

Thanx for the kind words Nick. I see your point about the lock stitch, but it has kinda become a way for me to tell my splices from the others at work. I agree ungraceful. I'll do the other side after a bit of climbing and milking and go for elegant.
