ugh, I have no patience for this poor arboriculture. If the climber got into the leader coming down and put the spikes on, thats perfectly exceptable. As long as those spikes never touched the part of the tree that was staying. Now the tree has many unnecessary wounds that it must over grow. I realize that in the scheme of things the honey locust will be fine and over grow no problem, but I just get mad over it. So many of us do the right thing and are constantly educating our clients about proper arboriculture, and to be honest, I have clients that know more about arboriculture than that climber because of my constant educating. Sorry to rant and rave, I just get mad
