Spiderjack for removals?

If you have it on a swivel on your bridge you can twist it so the handle isn't against the spar.

SRT for spar work is where it's at. Choke the line and leave a long tail so you can pull the choke out after you go down for your next cut.

I attach it to the lower rings on my treemotion, puts a little more line out when choking a friction saver on the trunk for spar work. Cam is toast for now, so been doing srt choke with rope wrench on big stuff and not looking back. Makes positioning on leaders an absolute joy! :-)

why? you can always split the spider and use it like another lanyard.

That's a good option too. I guess it depends on exactly what he doesn't like about it. Ricky what don't you like about it on removals specifically? For me it was having the handle hit the spar.

If any of you guys wanna split up a honey bros order and get some cams cheap let me know.

Id be in for a couple depending on what the cost effectiveness is. Took me about 3 months as a newbie sj user to kill the cam, winter is busy climbing season, so need to prepare! Slipping cams are not terribly enjoyable, its sat in the gear bag far too long!
