Southern TCC Chatter

I had a feeling that phone was yours Stephan. I asked what other numbers were on the phone and he gave me about 15 different 1.900 numbers. Several of which I didn't have already.

Way to go Rob, I guess you'll packing the "hammock" for your trip?. Congrats to you Mr. Poteet as well. Odis and Lucas...What a competition. Its great to know the faces with the names. Good job everyone.

Alright that decides it, I am officially moving south !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have to be kidding me....those trees are in full leaf !!!!!!!!!!!!

We just now had our first two consecutive days of reasonably nice temperature and needless to say our trees are still slumbering. I did see a bloom on a magnolia tree, but I think it was just the sacrificial bloom that is normally killed by our late March snowstorms!!!!

Those trees look BEAUTIFUL!!!!

I for one have no problem with smaller trees being used for competition as (A.) you tend to deal with what is available, and (B) smaller trees can be every bit as difficult as larger trees with the right set up. Actually larger trees can inspire more confidence than smaller trees due to the fact that limbs are much larger to run on.

Congrats to all, it looks like it was a great set up, a well run event, and chock full of excellent and safe climbing.

Really cool comp ,little tree but good competitors.I met alot of the southern crew and whiz -hyper everybody was cool. man that tree was small.
