Helium 400
Telescoping Pruner | min. 2,36 m | max. 4,00 m | max. branches Ø 35 mmshop.freeworker.com
Kinda looks similar quality to the fiskars…
That's a great analogy. So many things seem so obvious once you know. That sense of, "how did that not occur to me?", is disorienting even at times. I had learned early on about creating tension in the wood to cut it more cleanly from an orchardist who grew the most amazing fruit and trees I have ever seen, but he used different words.CUtting most things under tension is easier.
Try cutting saran wrap thats off the roll.
That thing looks pretty cool! Does it hold up well to production crew using it? And what diameter will it effectively cut?I’ve been using this for a while.

The blade is coated with Top Shield technology, a non-stick material that allows better penetration into the wood. The...arbsession.com
I bought the medium length and really enjoy it. It is a touch small at times but it is really nice for small cuts. So nice to not be chasing the pruner cord.
I haven't seen that yet. Looks like the ticket.I’ve been using this for a while.

Maybe 1/2” consistently. Not big enough to really impress me but the quality of cuts and ease of use for fine pruning is why I like it. If you are making big cuts this is not the right tool. If you do fine pruning, that is where this thing shines. That thing looks pretty cool! Does it hold up well to production crew using it? And what diameter will it effectively cut?

The pruner Ryan posted has bypass shears and a max length of 13', according to the link he posted. Are you sure yours is the same model?I feel like Ryan is being a bit conservative with his size estimate. I have that same pruner, though I went for the 20' poles, since they are infinitely adjustable. I would say that I can consistently get good cuts made close to an inch diameter, though harder woods can take a bit of effort at that diameter. I have been impressed at the quality of the cuts since having learned that the general consensus is that anvil style shears should be avoided.
