Sold my skidder to buy a compact track loader

Could you please expound on this comment? I have yet to read any negative comments on either the Vermeer ATX530 or the Multione 5.3. My options are rather limited due to limited availability of articulating loaders in Alaska. I would ship one up if there was a compelling reason such as the perfect machine at a fair price.
Comes from history going way back 2007~8
Not sure if its still relevant today
mostly parts issues
Vermeer will make M-1 a better company
or M-1 will tarnish Vermeer

Roger. I appreciate your candor. For whatever it’s worth I’m picking up a Vermeer ATX530 this week. It came down to two machines - the only two that have dealer support in Alaska - Bobcat and Vermeer. Since I can’t get a Bobcat until October at the earliest I’m going with Vermeer/Multione. Wish me luck!

Your right on selecting an Articulating Machine
love to hear good news going forward on Vermeer/M-1s
Best of all to ya

Tool cats have weak specs, they do a lot of different things, they just don't excel at any of them
FYI they have the standard fullsize "bobcat" hitch plate

Check the specs out on this new 50HP Giant up to 6300lbs tipping - weighs only 5700lbs !
Articulating - No Turf Damage, easy to keep under CDL, State of the Art, proportional controls -
Can get 16.5 wide turf tires, starting at 60K,
Concerning the Giant, If I’m reading these specs correctly, it’s only 43.3 inches wide as well. That would get you in and out of some tight spaces. I’ve been running a mini skid SK850 for a couple of years and after a main hydraulic drive motor problem, I'm looking into getting a second machine. Something with more capacity than a mini would be nice. This is worth a look.
