Smooth the edges

Kieth spoke of a concern about talking politics on TB. That's what this forum is set-up for.

It would be good to keep in mind that the talk can bring up some strong emotions. Keeping the edge off the discussion will keep us all friends. Watch the name-calling. If you don't care for the politician that's fine. Laying on "scum sucking, lying, no-good, blah, blah, blah" descriptors will get things heated up quickly.

Anyone whose read any of the political discussions on AS realizes that there is a lot of antagonism. Let's not go down that path.

I agree. I'm relieved to see my post did not receive any antagonistic replies. I had a bit of poster's remorse after I left yesterday in fear that we would go down that ugly road.

It's great to be among people who can disagree and discuss without arguing and insulting each other. Thanks to you all.
