Small van/work vehicle-Ford Transit???

The features of the dodge are much more appealing than the transit IMO, but it would be nice if it did have more of an 'industrial' look to it like the transit. I wouldnt want to always be explaining that yes, it looks like a mini van, but it is so much more. and no, its not my wife's car, i'm not married.

get some flames painted on the sides, convert it to a manual, and BAM! you got one mean looking van. start racing all the ricers down the road. it'll be so sweet.

I love my Sprinter. I have a 2006 2500 turbo diesel with the 110" wheelbase. It gets 25mpg. Should I say that last bit again? 25MPG. The view out the big windshield is amazing and I can turn on a dime. I've never had a vehicle that parallel parked as easy as the Sprinter. It is tall enough that I can almost stand up straight inside. In the back I have a full size bed that I have to sleep diagonally on (5' 8" between walls). For saws and gas and oil I have a big locking toolbox that goes into the hitch receiver. Under the bed I can store 8 large rubbermaid totes with all of my clothes, climbing gear, rigging gear, and ropes.

As a contract climber it is a great rig especially here in the northwest where we have so much rainy weather. I can go inside for my lunch break, or to get dressed for the job.

My one complaint is that it doesn't have a locking rear differential or four wheel drive. I live at 2000' and the road up to our place is steep and icy during the winter and it can be a bit slick. The chains come out most of the time the snow is packed on the road. I've heard that there is a four wheel drive model available in Europe but they don't import it. If they did I would buy one in a heartbeat.
