There are lots of arbos who have made the effort to give a removal another life as lumber for furniture or fine wood working
There are LOTS of router planer jigs that will surface the milled slabs into smooth uniform working stock.

This guy has come up with what looks like a great solution. This was in my daily Facebook clutter and I have ZERO connection to the guy.

I'm sooo tempted!
