They were actually started and named Totem in the 20's. They switched their name to 7-11 in the 40's to better reflect their new extended hours. Now you know, lol. My brother inlaw used to own a couple of them.

Ok, he's my go to water bottle. Pretty much always on my saddle, though I don't have a pic. just add water and a carabiner.

What's the story behind the petzl ring?

I had a chainsaw land yard with a tight eye. With the stock ring, I couldn't girth it on. About a week after I removed the stock ring with the petzl ring to attach the chainsaw landyard, I cut it accidentally so it was pretty much pointless. I don't use chainsaw landyards now after that

how do you like the runner on that escalator? i used to climb escalator with the hitch hiker. it works with the Akimbo, but man is that stuff stiff!

i did make that one a few years ago. it isn't anything special, basically its a treemotion custom fit to me out of leather. i made the mistake of using plastic from a home depot bucket as reinforcement. did you know that nothing sticks to that kind of plastic? i ended up using rivets to fix it in place, and now the plastic has worn and cracked and i just haven't got around to replacing it. saddle still works sweet tho
