My new Cougar, soon to be minus the webbing bridge as soon as i can decide what i wanna do with that.

I'm a little OCD, i HATE getting new gear dirty but gonna role in the mud once i get the MCRS

I wondered if anyone would catch that and ask :coffe:

I hydrate like crazy, couple gallons a day if i'm workin hard. Still get headaches though. I have hyper-hydrosis, i think it's what it's called. High temps make me pour sweat! Soaking all my clothes quick. I think i should have went with the Petzl Vent instead of the Kask i recently picked out. Can't wait to try out the stank pads in that thing. Already planning on getting the Petzl for that reason. 3 years ago Tylenol would be the last thing you'd find on me, morphine & oxy in a lot bigger container! Comin up on 3 years clean now, started buying saws and climbing gear after getting sober. The gym membership & hard labor actually saved my life. I've watched too many close friends die & lost it all so i put myself away on my sons 2nd birthday. It's quite the epidemic around here. Really digging the climbing thing & the learning that comes with it!

Petzl Vent instead of the Kask
I have not tried the Kask, but I will say I could not believe how much cooler my Vent is than my previous non-vented hard hats. Makes a big difference, and like you, I'm a sweat machine!

Awesome! Wouldn't have cracked that medicine joke if I knew your history. Keep it up, great to have you here on the Buzz.

No worries, im way past any type of urge or want to ever use again. I've come along way. People can place drugs into my hand and i still wont do them. What i will do is use the other hand to beat them for doing so. Haha! I'm still trying to rebuild my life and it's only getting better so nothing bothers me much anymore. I'm very much ok talkin about it, makes me remember what a "little fun" can do to someone & their family.

Guess it'll be the Kask for winter & Petzl for summer!

That is a LOT to be proud of. Keep up the good work! It's one thing to quit, and another to stay quit. I've had a hard time just trying to put down cigarettes.

Cigs are a whole 'nother story, can't tell ya how many times i've tried to quit! I totally lose my sh*t without smokes. Ordered free patches online but i've tried them before so i'm not gonna get my hopes up, they don't seem to help at all. I have no idea how anyone can cold turkey! I can't even wean off them but i really should & will keep tryin. My sisters, my father, alot of friends, all quit cold this year. Some people can do it that easy.. NOT ME! Good luck to ya, that's next on my list!

I recently was able to stop smoking cigarettes ,been about a month now,i use the "vape" to break the habit. Been a long time coming, easy enough to stop the "vape" its the cigg habit that's a sob.

The Vape the same as the E-Cig? I made it almost a month with the Blue E-Cig, dumbass me bought a pack cause i forgot to charge em :tonto:

Yeah, stock up on extra batteries, keep 'em charged... and cut the nicotine levels down quickly. Once you get down to 3mg hang there for a couple of months, then switch to the 0mg juice. You can safely vape for years without the nicotine. Some of us just take a lot longer to break the brain-training we spent all those years doing. Vaping is probably, for most folks, the very best chance for quitting.

Disclaimer: Two of my sons and a friend of theirs are the owners of all the GNC Vapor stores, but I'm not pedaling anyone's brand of stuff. They started the business because vaping really works for most people. In fact, it has worked better for more people than patches, hypnosis, nicotine gum or prescription happy pills put together. Get good stuff, though. The convenience store crap is made by companies that were bought up by big tobacco companies. Their juice is harsh and nasty for a reason.

Definitely not the e cig versions,I almost quit with those, but the industry has progressed,no bs it's like I haven't even friggin quit as far as transition is concerned . It's possible to get a "mod" that satisfies every need. Unbelievable i say.
