I've been running this setup for awhile as my chainsaw lanyard. Very tight stowage, no big loops of lanyard hangin about. With light modification it works great for the double clip setup. If you change saws often like me youll appreciate the quick clips. I have only drop tested top handles saws for durability of this product, it seems to hold up fine, caught the saw multiple times. Springs back to relaxed with light fatigued stretched look after a few drops. For the price frequent replacement is well worth it, If you drop the saw alot...or or you drop the saw alot, think about a career change... :X3:

Idk bud.. not sure if id trust that thing.. it's a pistol retention lanyard.. made for retaining a 1lb pistol.. i know you said you drop tested it & understand you don't always need some $100 arb labled peice of kit as a solution, but personally I'd be weary of it. I would assume it's designed to break away at a certain force factor as most military stuff is (gets snagged in tank track or some other deadly scenario), or at least a copy of a spec'd brand that tests these types of things. Cool concept for sure though with the small real estate needed for it..

If where talking about things that arent rated for arb, Egrodyne makes some pretty trick stuff.. It's all drop rated & tested as well.

I'll send you one I've abused and you try to break it?

Thought I'd post on here, after reading this thread I decided to give this lanyard a try. It's mostly been bucket truck work since then, with a few climbs but I've not had any complaints. It's been holding up great and stowes away nicely. I have been using it for about 2 months now.

They are pretty legit. Glad you like it Jehinten. Stowes toight and light, seem tough enough. Im still on my original.. What's not to like ?
