sexy and I know it ....

"Stop me if I'm wrong here Glenn(SHOULD HAVE STOPPED), it is Glenn right(RIGHT), but you seem like a text book case of someone with serious self worth issues(NOT). Kind of like someone who feels like he should be a self made man but just isn't( OK>>>?). The way i see it that's the difference between you and Tom ( CAUSE ?). Tom's a self made man top to bottom ( THAT'S AWKWARD, KEEP THAT BETWEEN YOU 2)"

-glad you love your friend , maybe you can place him as your avatar after your dog runs away . I posted about a busted , broke sling and because of the way I talk, I'm busted and broke . Amazing . Know what I did though ? I replaced all my slings , All of you out , bye bye . You can go dumpster diving if you like , tell you where they are located.

In keeping with the spirit of the Awakenings thread, I appreciate the point of the original post. I don't appreciate all of the other juvenile nonsense, but to be honest, I pretty much started it because I'm sick of how some people's egos get in the way of what's important.

For what it's worth, I'm gonna inspect all of our slings this week.

I broke one today too!

Kinda sorta on purpose...

From the bucket, big dry oak limb.. Was rigging just to protect the grass... Got it on video..

I think it's time to replace all my slings... You gotta be able to trust your rigging gear!

Kinda sorta on purpose? Really? Cause I know when I'm rigging stuff, with homeowners usually present, passerby's (possible customers), and your crew usually within eye sight and ear shot; is to NOT kinda sorta purposely shock load any piece of equipment to its breaking point. Do you know why? Cause it's unprofessional, lawn or no lawn and it makes you look like a total a*s hat. I would like to see said video, just to see exactly how large this limb really was, how it was rigged, how it was controlled and if possible the actual condition of sling. If you f*** up just say you f***ed up, not this kinda sorta bullsh*t. Riggs at least had the balls to say he messed up and that he didn't do it kinda sorta on purpose.

P.S. You don't get any additional brownie points starting a sentence "From the bucket"

This is dangerously close to Besmudgery. There was probably NO WAY anything bad could have happened by the shock loading, as HE WAS in the bucket. Videotaping the event makes it easier to claim you F'd up on purpose.

I'm 99.9% sure your comments have just earned yourself an email to your employers about your blatant lies and misrepresentations.

Good luck with all that, you'll need it now that you've messed with the Dadio.

I wasn't either, until Dadio taught me a lesson that I won't forget. Now, I just believe everything he says he meant to do, no matter how idiotic it seems. I AM 99.8% sure that there is NO WAY I will ever be guilty of besmudging his reputation online.

To me, seeing is believing!

Many years ago before buying a 600foot spool of climbing line, I first bought short hanks of line from the various mfrs, tied them to a fat spar, then to the front hitch of my tooltruck, put her in 4x4, then slowly backed up. Snapped every hank except the Samson TrueBlue, which I then bought a 600 foot spool of.

Perhaps not scientifically accurate since all the failed lines snapped at the running bowline knot, but the fact that the true blue didn't snap at the knot like the others had impressed me
