Sequoia Rope Bridge

So... I need a new bridge for my Sequoia. Anybody ever use a tied rope bridge like the TM on this harness? Is there any reason why I shouldn't? Seems I could save money and shipping just cutting my own.

That was the plan. I think I may give tri-tec a shot, see if it really is that abrasion resistant.

It most definitely is. I use it for my lanyards, it's amazing (but costly) stuff.

It doesn't like tying up into knots very easily though, just a note. I currently use New English KM III static on my bridge. Before that it's usually just a section off of whatever new climbing line we happen to have on hand at the time.

Also I personally don't use anchor bends, but I have had great success with double fisherman's as my termination knots on my bridge. (Not saying anchor bends are bad, they just sketch me out haha)

Used an anchor bend on mine for a while with velocity, worked just fine. If it's good enough for Matt Cornell, it's good enough for me.

Double fisherman's on one side anchor bend on the other so you can dial it in. Cut it longer than expected so you have room for a figure 8 and adjustment.

I decided on a MCRS rope bridge replacement. The 2 pack with the end splices is a great deal in my opinion, plus my uniform colors are neon green and black so it looks great.
