Sena headsets.

I just put the 10r on 2 of our helmets, sleek, love them, however, there not enough wire for one side, it was a tight fit on my Kask plasma, can't push our earmuffs all the way up when we're done using them., not a real big deal, but they leave one wire long to go to far side of helmet, they should both be long.

Okay, i love the darn thing, but if i manually launch my podcast program on my phone, the senas wont let me turn it off without restarting the unit. What combination of buttons do i have to mash to get it to stop whrn i want it to? My unit is a smh10 fm model.

Start and stop Bluetooth audio by pressing and holding the jog dial until it's first beep (unsure of how many seconds). Should work! If not you might want to factory reset (check manual) and then try

I put one on my Kask Plasma and one on my Petzl Vertex. I saw a video on YouTube where they mounted the mic in the ear muff. All the units I've used before it was mounted on the top. I have just the velcro attaching the mic now on the top brow and on the trial run it fell out twice. Has anyone mounted the mic in the muff? I think it would stay nice, but the only downfall I see is that be mic would always be in front of your mouth.

I had no problem putting the 10r's on my Kask and Rockman hardhats.

The boom mic on my kask got 2 zip ties to hold it on the suspension (as per TreeStuff install). I bought a repair kit to install on a set of ear muffs for mowing my lawn and it came with a button mic that I mounted on the bottom corner of the ear muff next to my mouth. It works remarkably well, maybe not for noisy environments but I talked on the phone with the wife while fussing around in the garage. If it proves useful I'll probably upgrade my helmet to this set up.

I haven't yet figured out how to have the 10r's on both intercom, and share music to all those paired. When I turn phone on, it automatically pairs with my phone first, I have to shut off the Bluetooth on my phone to get the intercom to pair with my ground guy. We also have to acivate the noise control every time to help eliminate the saws/chipper screaming through the headsets.
