Nice equipment!

It raises the question in my mind as to how much money the BCMA's can pull out of our industry, and not do any of the work.

Truck is 21,500 GVW with an allison automatic transmission. The dump box on the chip truck is rated to 6 tons.

I don't know for sure what the trailer is rated since it was custom made and MN screwed up on licensing it too me. They have it listed at 3000 GVW but it can do way more than that (my win). I'm guessing its 14,000 since its tandem axel. I'll do some digging to try and find out, but it can haul quite the load! I've hade it full with fresh elm logs and it dumps without an issue.

Thanks for the well wishes Todd!

Whoa, big move Sam, good luck buddy. Probably a smart move, it's damn near impossible for a little guy to run a legit biz these days, with all the tax, ins., employees, fuel, etc. - I know.

I'll pass the word around down here about the equipment - looks nice.

@TreeCo - what on earth does that mean? Consulting IS work. It also PRODUCES work. And I know a few BCMAs who are also regular production climbers too, so your question is a bit narrow minded. It takes all kinds to make our world turn smoothly.

Good Luck Sam! Congratulations on progressing to the point where you can get out of the production side. Hard work and effort pay off!

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. Tony, the company name will stay the same so your shirt is still functional. But if you wish to frame it as a collectors item, I would not object.

The Chip Truck has Sold.
