Yes it was. If you can zoom in enough you can actually see where the rope made about an 1/8th inch dimple in the wood. This made me think it would be cool to look at video made with a powerful camera being as I am pretty sure that the rope retracted after the shock load.

Yeah it'd be cool to use a high speed video camera on some of this stuff so you could look at super slow mo.
I see the dent but I had to look hard for it.
