Sawdust, a washing machine killer?

Paired with a Speed Queen dryer. Both still going strong after years with a tree guy, kids and three dogs in the house.

That looks like it may be the exact same model as our washer. The Maytag dryer keeps going and is relatively easy to repair, so I haven't gone to a Speed Queen dryer yet, but maybe when the current dryer quits.
