Hey Stig..great story and great safety policy ...In nineteen years of this work I have dropped a saw out of the tree twice...the first time as soon as I knew it was going I cautioned my groungirl , no injuries to people or saws in both instances ... some good luck there ...If I EVER hurt someone doing this work I would probably have to quit! Thus my ten percent leash time if I think it is at all possible I might lose the saw and cause damages/injuries it is leash time brother , tight quarters with a small hole or long limbs that put me out and over roofing , skylights etc. There are alot of stories out there where the limb/tree was removed safely only to have the saw damage the roof...
