Salewa boots

They seem popular for pruning. Anyone have any experience with them in spikes?

Mountain trainer mids here. Third pair in a row. Great all around. Stiff enough sole that my shitty steel klein gaffs don't bother me. I typically don't wear them much though, hence the shitty steel gaffs.

I've had 4 pairs, 2 mt trainer and 2 rapace. The last pair I just got and they are in reserve right now. I have only used them with spikes a few times and they were ok but I prefer logger boots for spiking. This last pair I got off amazon for about half price but had to wait a month for delivery as they shipped from the UK. I love them for pruning except the lace hooks getting bent from my foot ascender.

Where do you get your Crows? I'm having a hard time finding them in my size online. Also, do they fit pretty true to size? The last 2 pairs of boots I bought in 9.5's made me think I should move up to a 10.

Might want to upsize if you have a wider foot. I used to be a 12 but now I'm a 13.

I wear a 11.5 or 12 depending on the brand. I ordered a 12 and they are perfect wearing thin wool socks and a little tight with thick socks. I got mine from REI
