Salesman reimbursement?

Hi Guys,

I started a post a bit ago about this, but figured, I would try it again. How are you guys paying your salesmen? Percent of total job value? 5%, 7%, 10%? Weekly rate plus commission? If the salesmen under bids how is that handled? If the bid doesn't come in, does the salesmen get paid?

I think the get the commission on every job or on no job. Of course some jobs are going to be under bid. Some will be over bid. Some will be spot on. It should all balance out.

Okay, i'll report back to see how it plays out. I'm figuring turning over some of the pricing can keep me on the jobs more, which ensures that the jobs are completed how I need them to be.

You could incorporate a sliding scale and a draw to help with quiet months?
