Sales vehicles

VW has been selling turbo diesels in the US for over a decade, and had a non-turbo diesel here way back in the 70's. My Golf is an 04 and I have gotten as high as 49 mpg (close to 700 miles on a tank) on a long highway drive. There are many guys at tdiclub.com who do a long daily commute in older VWs who get close to 60 mpg. Sadly, the newer cars don't get quite the same mileage, but 40 mpg is still pretty good. And you can run them on domestically produced, virtually non-polluting biodiesel (if you are willing to risk losing your warranty, which many VW owners have done without regret).

I bought a prius and put logos on it. I can attribute bids I won simply for driving a hybrid. However, I would purchase a cheaper car next time. All the miles depreciate the vehicle so quickly, a prius doesn't make sense. My choices would be a Toyota Yaris, Honda Fit, or Ford Fiesta. There are a few kias that are nice, but I don't know much about them.

I also painted my scooter helmet in case I fancy doing a bid on it.

A friend of mine rocks te Kia soul as his sales vehicle. It looks really good with the decals. Very affordable but I don't think the mileage is top notch.

The fiat looks awesome but the mileage is terrible for such a small car. 34 mpg? Bah!

I see that Prius is expanding their options. I'm interested in their compact model.

Its great everyone loves it. All is well it was time to update the old logo was 20 years old.Doing 30 plus trucks was a lot of work.

Soon...soon.

Our fleet isn't in the position for a 'one trick pony' yet. I am of Dutch lineage and don't like to spend/burn money on fuel more than i have to. The F150 pulls Morbark M12Rs on occasion, has 800 litre Fert/Spray tank placed in the rear, goes out with the Supersonic Airnkife and compressor as well. Additionally its a family carrier on occasion as well.

My wife has a 2009 Grand Vitara 4 cyl which i have used for sales. I like this car alot for sales.

The Truckcraft/Eloquip insert chip body was resurrected this past spring when we acquired the F350. Great, hard working truck.

As pretty as the small trucks are, we have to work on branding the larger trucks yet.

Good to hear the business is doing well! Still teaching?

Nope. Miss it a lot. Teachings not for the businessman. A day/week/month off to teach could land the next sales lead, condo contract, staff member, sales associate, consulting associate, tender request, growth planning meeting, marketing meeting, etc etc.

Really, really miss it. They were simpler times.

Figured I'd jump in this thread as I've been considering using a car as we commute a lot for estimates and jobs. Have had great response to the wrap on our truck and really like some of the examples posted here!!
