I turned the tether the other way up, and it worked better.

Also checked the changeover times from srt to drt and then grillon, and back, can be achieved in less than 1min.

Also worked out an abseil method in srt, by forming a loop from the carabiner on the shunt(pics will follow)
 
I trained with the Duck during my Sprat/Irata courses, it's just about the same as the shunt, shorter toe string, stainless body, maybe a few grams heavier. It still feels funny in the hand at first, especially if you have been using a shunt, clunkier is probably the best description. I was told the Duck-R came into the picture after an offshore incident, apparently the toe-string of a shunt was modified/lengthened and became looped around the tech's finger. The rest of the story I am sure you guys can figure out.
