Custom financing

We are looking into helping get our customers financed for jobs that they would like preformed. Does anyone have any third party finance companies they would recommend for tree service work?

Is there a local bank or credit union that could help?
So from my point of view is that the normal person would go to a local bank or credit union for the best rate also they wouldn’t mention this to the contractor.

The ones that ask the contractor for financing I would think don’t have good credit and probably have a hard time getting a reasonable loan.

Maybe my thinking is wrong and shame on me just my opinion

I'd recommend wise tack. We recently moved to greensky and are less happy. Wisetack makes it easy. What CRM do you use? The big ones offer financing options.

That's a fair point. I don't know...I don't do "consumer" debt, so I'm just unfamiliar with it. Somebody is willing to take a risk on these loans, right? What interest do they pay? I see Wisetack advertised in Jobber, but I ignore that. Part of not doing big removals is we have very few clients who "need" to do something they cannot afford so I haven't looked into it/offered it. I just assumed that some people use the loans through Jobber because it is convenient. Lower rates than credit card, I assume??? I'd call a local bank just to see what they say. It'd be nice to keep it in town if you can...but maybe not as convenient.

No idea, above my pay grade. I just offer it. I'm in the same boat, I don't really do consumer debt. But some folks just like payment plans. And they often offer well qualified folks no interest financing. I did my roof that way. It was really convenient and helped with cash flows.
