Safari use vs. Scales

I am curious to see if anybody out there is using Safari vs Euro Elm Scale on American elms or against Kermes Scale on Northern Red Oak.

Those are our 2 bad scale problems here in Denver. I would love to get some feedback on rates, and success from different parts of the country.

Thanks,

Steve

I know a couple of arbo's here in town who used Safari against Kermes this past summer. My understanding is they recieved mixed results. Personnally i used Imidicloprid soil applied and injected acephate . Worked as a 1-2 punch with great results.

IMO safari is a great product but isn't worth it's cost. When the price comes down i'll begin using it instead of imidicloprid.

Hit'em, 6 gram rate minimum. Soil inject. I get safari for $350/3lbs delivered and tax total. For me it is worth it.
Kioritz, charging 4-6 times DBH.
