ruined two ropes

Today my groundie put the ms460 in my bullrope..... Straight trough it. So i had to bring up a spare and guess what. He tipped it with the barpoint so its wrecked to.

I will have to buy me some new gear i believe.... /forum/images/graemlins/bling.gif

some bad things give me good things i believe :)

I think he would not forget what is said this afternoon. A bit hard i was maybe for some ropes that had to be renewed.....

After you replace them...you'll have 6 ropes. 4 will be of different lengths. not a total loss. /forum/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forum/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

i was reading somewhere that employers cannot make employees pay for lost equip through payroll deductions. does anyone know of this law? but maybe that is just in the U.S.

i agree that broken equip should be bought by the person responsible, but if it is the law, employers should be known of it to safeguard them in the future

Its not that a worry. I just order new stuf, some extra gadgets etc. on the companys cost. That i told some strong words to my groundie is just to make him awear that he shouldnt do it again... He has not to pay up or so.

I have guys that break stuff here and there but in this business that is going to happen I am not going to take it out of his check if it is an acident. Hey, that stuff happens. Now, if you was just totally stupid and broke stuff all the time or broke the same stuff the same way over and over again then yeah I would do something. But I will buy new stuff if it is an acident. One of my groundies broke the power pruner that slipped out of his hand and broke the oil tank. He felt so bad. I told him to stop acting like your dog just died and move on S^*t happens no one got hurt relax and keep doing me a good job. Just my outlook.
