I was too lazy to mess with the f8/revolver, but the rope wrench was too easy to say no. Did some tricky maple pruning today and loved it. Is there more to it than this? I am tweaking the tether length but other wise it is supple and easy to advance footlocking or tending slack, just like the man says. I was also tending slack by grabbing the wrench and pushing it up, and it pulls the hitch. Again, seemed so easy I thought it must be dangerous!

you will have a lot of obsolete gear
you can body thrust with it, I have a cord with a mini biner attached to the back of my treemotion, over the shoulder and it has another mini biner on it that i clip on the tether, under where it attaches to the rope wrench, when you move, it tends both the wrench and the hitch
Limbwalking is easy, walk right out like normal DRT, hand over hand back in until you feel you need to pull slack, easy-peasy, and faster coming in since you are pulling 1:1, not 2:1

You can unclip the cord super fast and stow it away in no time while working, whip it out when needed, then stow it on the saddle again, fast, efficient and easy.
