Rope Grab recommendation?

Looking for a better way to handle sap than my hitch-based lanyard adjuster.

Can you let slack out in a controlled manner with your weight in your lanyard on the Petzl Micrograb or Buckingham rope grab?

I have used the ART positioned 2 and loved it, just looking to try something new.

I got a nice extra Gibbs you’re welcome to try out if you want, and if you wanna keep it I’m thinking 25$? I’ll get a pic later if you’re interested.

It’s aluminum for 7/16” to 1/2” so will work on 11mm to 13mm. I’ll dig it out and get a pic for ya.
As long as I climb, I’ll always keep two separate “ pine lanyards” with rope grabs instead of a hitch or other mechanical.

Since we’re on the subject though, I’m not sure how bad it gets with a Grillon with pitch. Curious if anyone knows.

I ditched mine before it got pitched, but I heard from others that it’s horrible. My positioner is great, no need to deviate. The zillon is a good choice, I’ve heard.
