Rope Boss bag

Have been using my Rope Boss bag for three weeks now and have had no issues with keeping my gear together and dry. The only issue I have had is the backpack strap clip has alread lost its ability to spring closed (so now I am always placing it back on the bag ring). Has anyone else had this problem or is it just me? Oh and no I have not been beating the bag up.

My bag has lost it's handle and the stitching for the cover has come out. Overall, I'm not impressed with the quality of the construction. The handle was stitched to the sidewall without any reinforcement so, it was bound to fail.

I have a mesh gear bag from MEC in Toronto that I've used and abused for 8 yrs and shows NO signs of wear. That cost me about $40.

Metoli-WHAT?? Metolius!

The LAST bag you will ever need.... dont get the biggest, but dont get the smallest.

Worth every penny and 2X more....

It would be nice to hear Tobe weigh in on this. The bag is clearly not sufficient to stand up to the rigors of our work and environment. Fundamental design flaws IMHO.

My first one fell apart within three weeks, Sherrill took it back. sent me a new one and I speared it with a cedar top on the first day, thru the top, pinned the bottom to the ground, branches thru the side walls. The holes haven't gotten any bigger and that was at the end of last year. The rep at tcia told me they had a bad run. Who knows what that means. I didn't get the back pack system, I just use old removable luggage shoulder straps. They work great. Ijust saw wesspur has a duffel with backpack straps for like $50. maybe next year.
