Roll Off Truck

I am selling my 2001 International roll off truck. Truck has a DT466 motor w/ 178,000 miles on it. Transmission is an Eaton Fuller 6 speed manual. This is an air brake truck. The hoist is an American 18' cable-type system with inside/outside controls. Truck comes with 1 20 yard container. This is a great truck for hauling wood or a large capacity chip truck. I recently installed a hitch assembly with electric on the rear to pull a chipper if needed. Truck is immaculate and has no mechanical issues. I am asking $30,000 OBO. The price is negotiable. Please call 201-956-1474 with any questions.

GVWR on a commercial truck doesn't matter much. What does matter is making bridge law, not overloading the tires, and having a tag registered for enough weight (legalities).

A better question, what are the axle ratings and what's the tare weight with the container?

Bridge law... I just read up on that, I'd never heard of that before. You'd think I would have since I read the CMV handbook, and did my handbook tests. I wonder if I missed it, or maybe it was missing.

Your question is pointed. ;)

I'm figure with a container, the truck is 20-23klbs. Could be wrong though. Did you not ever get a weigh ticket leaving a dump? Your tare weight is what you weight empty.

Yes, the truck can dump the container.

Pointed? Naaa, I'm not horribly concerned with bridge law.

I just meant that when you re-asked the question it was to the point of exactly what we wanted to know.

Ah, well, in that case, pointed like a spear!

I thought you meant: "Expressing criticism in a direct and unambiguous way."
