Tom, just got back from a week in Denver/the mountains....what freaking awesome mountains!!!!!They are amazing the way they rise straight out of the FLAT plains. And it's wild to think of all that land that it takes hours to jet over from Nebraska to eastern Colorado which is now covered with those irrigation cirlcles/farmland, was once all prarie with Grizzlies.
Had a total blast snowshoeing in the moutains while my family skied, then saw the Colorado Mammoth lacrosse team kick butt at the Pepsi Center, then saw the Broncos whip the Colts (sans Peyton)...those Bronco fans are Amazing...it's easy now to see why NFL guys are willing to risk their health in return for big bucks and the adrenaline rush of 71,000 fans screaming for you and your team and screaming against your foes.
