Swabisch,

He wasn't around enough this year to qualify - the chapter set strict rules around how much time a climber spent here in the prior year. I think it was a minimum of 8 total months in the RMC region, with 2 consecutive months required leading up to the competition.

I don't think this is fair for someone like Charley, who travels so much but who clearly lives here when not travelling. He has been around for a while this year, though, so I think we may be seeing him in the fall.
