You got it..No doubt... love him like a brother..He thinks climbers have big egos ..he's right.. i know there's tons of people, probably on this very forum who have made such mistakes , but would never even think to tell a soul cause it would damage they're pride. I've worked in trees for half my life now and could go on for a while about mistakes I've made. I'm human. We all are, so to hide accidents is bullshit. No one will think less of you ,and if they do oh well thier ignorance or loss. I've never cut myself with a saw or hurt any other person working, so in some ways my record is alot cleaner than someone elses. Does this mean anything!? No.. it's in the past , doesn't mean shit now. Tomorrow I could fuck myself up or another being complacent or non attentive. Sometimes I cut sloppy face cuts if the situation isn't that pertinent that it matters.. I'm done with that shiy, everything matters in this life.. and I owe alot of it to my sloppy looking scrappy punk, safety coordinator groundie/accomplised climber Buddy Bobby . He keeps me honest and helps me stay focused. He acts like we're a band whom can't miss a note or we won't play another show.. hahahahahaaaaa.. What a maroon. He's right in alot of ways a punk in many others.. Whip met him ,he knows what I'm talking about..Here's to treefection!
