Rhizosphaera treatement

Hi,

Looking for suggestions on products to use on Picea pungens to control rhizospaera needle cast.

I am precluded from using a foliar spray so would prefer suggestions on soil drenches or direct injects.

Mancozeb, daconil and other products have come to my attention but I am interested in your insights.

Other limitations we face are limited/no storage space, limited equipment availability, and the processes must be as inconspicuous as possible.

I look forward to your input!

Blue Spruce Needle Cast

Just a bump here.

Looking for a non-spray fungicide to handle rhizosphaera. Trunk injection would be preferred, soil drench second choice.

Anyone got something they use with success?

ThanX!

check Mauget Fungisol : I don't know if it's labeled for Rhizo but it's the only injectible i can think of that may be.

Good suggestion, but it's not labeled for Rhizo.

Most injectable fungicides are for wilt treatments than foliar leaf spots.

If you don't want to spray, alleviating environmental stress and cultural practices are your best bet. This means that the fallen-infected leaves should be removed from the site, clean your pruning tools, water, mulch, decompact the soil, improve air circulation within the tree, don't prune when it's wet, and improve drainage. You know, the standard stuff.

I think you should try to get this person to do at least one or two sprays (or 1 or two years of sprays) to get on top of the problem and work hard to get the environmental stresses under control. This would give you a great advantage.
