replace Cougar bridge?

I've been looking at the Cougar and the Sequoia recently up close for the first time. I notice the Sequoia bridge is connected to rings that can be opened to replace the bridge, but not the Cougar.

So, once a bridge wears out on the cougar, can it be replaced with an identical bridge? It looks to me like you could splice one end and girth hitch it to the ring, but the other end would have to be tied with a knot.

Anyone know anything about this?

You can remove the bridge and connect an identical one via girth hitching. The process involves taking apart the bottom half of the Cougar, Not extremely complicated. I did it twice on my Medium installing and removing rings for it, but I haven't given it a try yet on my small.

It doesn't come with directions (they're making a video) but it's basically the same as the Glide, where the bottom comes apart to remove the bridge. Don't know if you have experience with the Glide or not.
