This is true... and it's usually grass fed beef, too. I was actually trying a subtle bit of sarcasm about a rather viral email campaign by someone with a weird agenda claiming that McDonalds was importing toxic beef from Argentina... it was complete bullshit. They took some pictures of starving cows from a very rural, poverty stricken part of the country and indicated that these were the source of the meat in a Big Mac. I deleted the post.

McDonalds actually uses beef mostly from the US and they want it leaner than most of the grain fed cattle that's been pumped full of antibiotics. The real problem with their food is a lot more complex than the source of their burger meat.

I apologize to Argentina, but McDonalds can kiss my ass.
