Recommended saw for spar work

@Z'sTrees I use 3 different files over the life of a chain, decreasing in size of file as the cutter gets smaller.

13/64, 3/16, 5/32", IIRC.

As well, I increase my raker offset amount as the cutter shrinks.
I have wondered about that angle shifting as the cutter gets shorter. Never heard anyone say that they do this, but I see the logic

Me's interested in this 261 3/8s 50 conversion. Dang, now I need another LW bar and and something for the .325/20'' bar.
Tis my crane saw. Guess I should just grab another 261c already set up, and have her ported.
Well blow me wallet.
Been thinking about this. Saving some coin by not buying another saw, even though I'd LOVE to. Have other duties to tend to calling for coin.

I'm gonna keep my current 261c as my crane saw with the .325 and Sugi LW bar. She cuts great. Muffler mod it for a little more pep. I have an 036 Pro basket case. It lost it's piston years ago due to bad gas. I should get this saw running again, send it for porting and use it for bigger wood during crane work. Another LW bar at 24''s and a semi or full skip chain.
