Recommendations for slip-on ground boots

Hey folks, I'm a flip flop guy. Wanting to unlace my boots after a climb and have some easy-entry boots on hand to get back to work in, as well as for days when I'm just on the ground or doing estimates. I'm wondering how the ariat boots do, but I'm feeling a little uncomfortable about signaling that I'm country, because I really ain't (not that there's anything wrong with country). What's out there for me?

I think slip on boots are not for tree work. The uneven terrain, slip/trip hazards and possibility/probability that you need to move fast at times would translate into lace-ups only for the extra ankle support.

See, I don't care for ankle support. I like being able to flex my ankles as it helps with my balance and agility. Never rolled an ankle once and I beat down utility lines daily.

A friend of mine from Washington state used to wear Romeos. We teased him like crazy because they are goofy as hell but he swore "all the tree guys" back home where them. I couldnt agree more with limbloppa but to each his own.

Oh my Lord....seroiusly...what's this line dancing...I hardly wear anything on my feet outside work..that being said a good mountaineeting boot is good for tree and ground....for me Salewas all day...hate steel toes

image.webp Blundstone's are the best boots period. In my opinion. I've been wearing them for for 20 years. I get two years out of them as work boots.

Wolverine boot makes a cowboy style square yoe with a treaded sole that has enough heel for spikes, slides on and off easily. Doesnt get too hot for me and I've got a year and a half in them - holding up well. And I welded and ran torches through most of the winter months wearing them - which is often rough on laces and sole stitching. $90 - 120 if I remember right
