Erik what park is that tree you are talking about in? you can Pm me if you want. I have a good spot walking distance from the expo!

The tree I was referring to is well West of Hartford, so it would be quite a trip for a group. I'd be more inclined to hit up the one you may be thinking of...especially at walking distance.

I'm in. There are big cottonwoods all along the Connecticut River in Hartford, but covered with poison ivy, more research needed!
