Question for Mac users

I've been looking at QB PRO for Mac but I read that it's not setup to make on line bill payment. Is that true?

I also read that it isn't setup to take credit card payments internally. This isn't an issue today but it might make it easier in the future.

Has anyone found any limitations with QB pro/Mac?

We looked at this software, but decided to go with Posim instead. Posim has a lot more flexibility and works pretty well. You can see their stuff at posim.com.

Yes... The new (09) version has some bugs in it. I do not believe ( I just checked my version) you can do bill pay, but you can do online banking... download transactions, etc. I am not sure about accepting credit card payments. You can, however, do payroll through it, which I find very helpful.

The bugs:

There are some email bugs. When I email off to clients (a pdf file, like an invoice or estimate) my signature rule that I have set up through mail is left out. So, I have to go through another step of cut and pasting. It is a known issue with quickbooks. I have also found that the address sync in quickbooks is a bit sketchy. On my 07 version, it ruined my address book. I am hesitant to use it again, so I am back to double entering.

Other then those glitches, it is very good. There are some great new features in 09, like the snapshot and home page. Much easier to navigate, and nicer to look at. Someday, we will have windows quality, minus having to use windows!
