problems with NU-Arbor 1-2 root injector

anyone else have issues with this inferior kioritz replacement?

I don't like it at all. I've contacted the supplier and done all of the their recommendations and I still don't like it.

Here are my main issues with it:
(1) it doesn't consistently inject the same amount of solution (big problem IMO)
(2) it leaks from the probe tip
(3) its heavy and doesn't have a foot step to insert into ground easier
(3) the backpack is uncomfortable and cheap design

can someone please start manufacturing the kioritz again?

I had the same issues and sent it back. I now baby my kioritz more and dread the day it breaks beyond repair.

The word is that the mold itself to replicate the kioritz would cost $30K up front (or something like that). But the old kioritz are so accurate and bullet proof.

I talked to an arborist that hires a machine shop to make new parts for the old kioritz as he needs them (and he has like 10 of the old kioritz, lucky duck)

Someone please produce the kioritz again!!!!

FYI- They have re-designed the probe with a vent to prevent vapor lock which was supposedly the main issue with accuracy and leaking. They are sending me a new one at no charge and let me keep the old one for parts.
I'll let you know how the "new" design works out.
They are trying to keep me happy and resolve the issue.
