Problem with my ART Positioner

Hey, I have my art positioner attached to my D ring with a lil clevis twist and on some occasions the clutch will accidentally engage due to the positioner being pushed against my bridge because of a given situation. What's a good way to eliminate this from happening?

Should I replace the clevis twist with a real short webbing loop?

Interesting I wouldn't think the swivel made that much of a difference as my bridge seems seems it would engage the clutch regardless. What I do to combat the problem is either put it above or below my bridge depending the position I'm in, or put a slip knot behind so that it jams up against the adjuster.

The swivel is definitely the way to go. Mine tends to naturally end up with the clutch out of the way because it can swivel 360 degrees. The rare occasion when it does contact my bridge I can move it quickly and easily and the problem is solved.

yeah, I don't see myself spending two and a half bills on a whole new positioner just to see if the swivel will solve my problem. I think I'll try a teeny tiny webbing sling to get my positioner out a little bit from the D ring and see if that solves my dilemma.

Jimmy is right HB is the way to go. Sherrill's markups on ART stuff here is insane. You'll be looking at like $60-$70 shipping to the US. See if someone else will go in with you on the order. I've ordered from HB a couple times with different people to make the shipping reasonable. Their prices on ART, Petzl, and DMM stuff can't be beat.

One bit of caution though, I did get beat up by UPS for some customs COD bs on the last order. It was an extra $21 bucks when they delivered it. I wasn't happy but it was what it was. I think it had something to do with the full order being over a few hundred bucks.
