Price my truck

I'm thinking of selling my 1 ton dump truck but not sure how to value it. It is a 1990 GMC 3500. 454 gas motor. manual transmission, 4 speeds with the granny low. good rubber, brand new haldex electric over hydraulic pump. no rust, all gauges work, 2 whl drive, 110,000 original miles. newer clutch. 1 cargo box on each side.

i know what i got in it, but i think its worth more. I want to compare what others think.

I would probably end up selling it to a construction contractor or a farmer so don't base the value of it to a tree services desire. It did fine for tree work, but not good for chipping a removal. 1 medium tree and its full.

It basically sits in my garage and I don't want to see it waste away.

the entire dump assembly can be removed from the frame of the truck by unbolting it and can then be moved to another truck with the same size frame...in the event this truck was wrecked or for whatever reason.

I sold a 1996 Ford F350 with a gas 351, auto and 90K last year. It had an entire aluminum chip body that was 11' long. It was in great condition for it's age. I got $7300.00 for it, but it took a long time of holding out to get that... I had it listed for at least 6 mos. It sold on ebay.

Best of luck!

I bought my 97 f350 4x4 7.3 diesel with I-pack for $7,000 last june. I looked a long time for a diesel that wasn't junk. Gas jobs ran 1,000 less or more. That being said I think with a alum. box you should pull somewhere in the same range.
