Preferred hitch cord for Safari

Just got a length of Yale Safari and am wondering what others who use it like. I currently run a 5/2 xt with 30'' ocean. Works really well on my 16strand xtc. This is the first rope I've ever used that's more than 16 strand and def my first static rope. I've heard it's not quite as static as some other ropes, does that mean it would work for Ddrt or should this rope only be used really with Srt as with the other static lines?

I personally like the NE EpiCord 9.3mm or the ArbPro 9mm on Kernmaster in a 3/3 VT. Because the Kern has a braided core rather than a parallel core it has some shock absorbing characteristics that true statics with a parallel core don't have. Kern is essentially a double braid with a 48 strand cover. It can be used DDRT but the smaller and plentiful strands in the cover are not as durable as a traditional double braid (24 strand) or a 16 strand so continued Ddrt use is not recommended. Let it be known that I've seen and heard of heavy wear of the cover as a result of using toothed mechanical ascenders. It is a really nice rope.
