It was the tool that got me to appreciate SRT work positioning. I loved it on my worn old tachyon so much.
Now I can't stand it compared to my wrench. It's just not as smooth.
I have interest in trading my blue runner for some other SRT device (s).
Would be willing to entertain BDB, hitchhiker, or another wrench or two... maybe some other stuff. Generally I'm just looking for something I will use. Make an offer.

I broke the little swivel that keeps the lower pin captive, and the bollards have both been rotated twice. It has some wear on the friction plate, but nothing is to the point of being worn out. Pictures can be taken tomorrow.

my guess is. if you get a bearing pulley they last a long time. and its smooth. the runner should be smooth. when the bushing goes out its like riding a bike with a flat tire.

just descend and put your finger on the pulley. if it stops and doesnt roll at any point its gone bad. cleaning doesnt help usually because a flat spot gets worn in the sheave pretty quick.

Does it also hurt tending? That seems to be smooth or rough depending on some vairiable that has escaped me thus far.

That makes sense. I'll change it. And maybe repost this at a later date, but hopefully not.

Apparently I can't delete a thread. Huh. That's a weird feature to exclude.
