Its funny the purpose for the license is to hold contractors accountable and to insure competency in trade. But for the tree classification d49 I had no trade exam to take. How do they know I'm competent? I even asked them at the test center and they confirmed I had no other test to take.

Congrats!

In some ways I'm not surprised you found it easy. Often when someone is in a "hurry" to take the test because they are "ready" they overestimate thier knowledge.

Conversely often when someone has been around the "topic" of the test for a while and they are hesitant to take the test they underestimate thier knowledge.

For me, I always get nervous about tests and after I've taken them, pass or fail, I realize I have a lot, lot more to learn!

So, Don't Stop Learning and feel free to take the occasional test to let you know where you need to bone up on the subject!

I took a college course in another trade that was module or text then computer hosted test. A couple instructors available but mostly independent. Anyway the faster you wrote these tests the faster you finished school. I set the pace and got out of there in under half the time allowed. There is a formula to study and pass tests and pretty well let you know how well prepared you are.

As an added bonus I'll throw in the ability to forget everything you learned right after writing the test.

take the smart phone with you. photo it and then if you fail you can study it for the next time. Our town has one that is so stupid I asked the girl how am I supposed to answer this question and this question etc? She calls me several days later and says, you are right we are redoing the test. when i went back to take it teh third time it was changed for the better but still stupid. I finally passed but in five years never had to show it to anyone.
